. Translation

 I’ve been working as a professional English, Italian, Spanish to Russian translator since 2002. My areas of expertise include:

. Interpretation

 While working as a corporate translator in the real estate business, I was responsible for consecutive interpretation during high profile business meetings, presentations, networking events, press conferences, which improved intercultural awareness and effective cross cultural communication skills as well as helped me to acquire deep market knowledge and industry best practices.

 Over the last three years in Rome, I’ve provided first-rate interpreting services at high level business negotiations in banks, real estate companies, legal firms and notary offices as well as at training sessions and presentations.

 Apart from my translation work, I currently teach English, Spanish, Russian and Italian in a private language school in Rome.

 I’m in love with languages and enjoy sharing my passion with my students and passing on my knowledge and experience. I firmly believe that studying a foreign language should be a fun and enjoyable adventure.

 Over the last 10 years, I’ve taught children, adolescents and adults in both private classes and group classes and I love watching my students progress from beginners to advanced. I can customize your lessons to fit your individual needs making sure that you learn as much as possible in a short time. Your progress is my priority.

 I teach English, Italian, Spanish and Russian using a communicative methodology, covering all four language skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing). I give regular homework to ensure that you assimilate new vocabulary and grammatical structures.

  • Preparation for exams: focused lessons that will help you improve you scores and succeed on such serious exams as Trinity, KET, PET, FCE, CAE, BEC, IELTS as well as preparation for DELE (Diplomas de Español como Lengua Extranjera), CILS (Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera), TORFL (Test of Russian as a Foreign Language, Russian: Тест по русскому языку как иностранному or ТРКИ).

  • Custom-made courses: if you look for a specific type of course (aviation, medicine, hotel business, etc.), I can design it especially for you combining grammar and lexicon from the General English course with the more technical vocabulary to ensure the course meets your individual business needs.

 I’ve been teaching via Skype for the last two years and I think it’s a revolutionary way of learning as it’s free, you can study from your office or from your home or from any other favorite place and you improve your fluency really fast.

  • Take as many classes as you want per week/month
  • Get an email lesson reminder
  • Get an email with homework (and feedback, if you want to)
  • Plan the next class during the last 10 minutes of each class thus ensuring all your learning needs are met
